Located on the Minnesota/Canadian Border

John "Gator" Gushulak has been a guide on Rainy Lake for more than 30 years. He is a USCG licensed captain and is able to guide in both Voyageurs National Park and Canada. He specializes in walleye fishing, but he also has considerable experience with northern pike, crappie and smallmouth bass.

Gator fishes exclusively on 70 mile long Rainy Lake (10 miles from International Falls, Minnesota) in a 24' Hydra Sport powered by a 225 hp Suzuki outboard. He has the capacity to handle up to six people, which makes for a great family outing. He can supply all equipment, rods and reels, and tackle at no extra cost to you. If you aren't a professional fisherman, Gator will teach you the techniques necessary to catch trophy walleyes or small mouth bass. Within minutes you will know how to fish with the best of them!
